About me.

I'm Alex. I build the software that runs the parts of a business nobody wants to keep doing by hand — the missed calls, the spreadsheet that's really a database, the booking that should have happened automatically and didn't.

Before this, I built production AI systems: voice agents that handle real phone calls without falling apart on a bad connection, texting bots that hold state across a whole conversation, multi-tenant systems where one customer's data never leaks into another's. That last part sounds like a small detail until it's the one thing standing between a shop and a lawsuit.

I studied software engineering formally and then went and built things that had to survive contact with actual customers, actual phones, actual bad wifi. The gap between a demo and something that holds up on a Tuesday afternoon is where most of the real work is, and it's the part I care about.

I'm based in Rexburg, Idaho, and I work with shops wherever they are. Being local to a client is a nice detail when it happens, not the thing that makes the work good.
